With this Privacy Policy, CRIF (VISI) intends to explain the methods adopted in managing this website by referring to the processing of the user’s personal data.

This is a general notice, issued to all those who consult the website, in compliance with the provisions of all Indonesian prevailing laws and regulations related to personal data protection and management, including but not limited to Law No. 11 of 2018 concerning Electronic Information and Transaction (including its amendments), Government Regulation Number 82 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of Electronic Transactions and Systems and the Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2016 concerning Protection of Personal Data in Electronic Systems (“Applicable Laws”).

When using certain services, users will be provided with the specific and detailed privacy notice in accordance to the Applicable Laws and requested specific consent for their personal data to be processed, if necessary.

The Data Controller

Unless we specifically state otherwise, CRIF (VISI) is the data controller of the Personal Data we process, and is therefore responsible for ensuring that the systems and processes we use are compliant with the Applicable Laws.

Data Processing Location

Data collected from those who access the site will be processed at the office of PT Visi Globalindo Data Utama (VISI), in a manner determined by the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) (the Indonesian Authority that deals with personal data protection) and in accordance with the Applicable Laws. Data must be handled by people with relatively adequate technical skills, employees or partners, who have been specifically trained and assigned to process data.

Processing Methods

The data shall be processed in a lawful, correct fashion, so as to ensure data security and confidentiality, as foresees by the Applicable Laws. Personal data shall be processed using electronic, or at any rate, computerized devices.

Purpose of processing

The data shall be processed for the purposes of time to time needed on the base of the service asked by VISI’s customer. For each service asked by VISI’s customer, VISI will provide a specific privacy notice with a detail of the applicable purposes of the processing.

Ground of Processing

The data shall be processed on the base of the different grounds of processing, in accordance with the type of service provided by VISI. For each service asked by VISI’s customer, VISI will provide a specific privacy notice with a detail of the applicable ground of processing.

Recipients of the Personal Data

The data could be communicated to different kind of recipients, in accordance with the type of service provided by VISI. For each service asked by VISI’s customer, VISI will provide a specific privacy notice with a detail of the recipients of the personal data.

Data Transfer

VISI operates under the umbrella of CRIF, an Italian company, in four continents (Europe, America, Africa and Asia). VISI may share personal data with other companies in order to provide VISI’s customers with credit bureau and business information, outsourcing and processing services, and credit solutions services and in order to administer VISI’s relationship with VISI’s customers (e.g. invoicing, marketing) or otherwise as necessary for the purposes described above.

In general, data provided by VISI’s customers will not be transferred outside (according to VISI’s customer’s domicile). However, it is possible that this transfer will take place according to the type of service provided by VISI. For each service requested by VISI’s customers, VISI will provide a special privacy notification with details of the country where the data is transferred. However, when personal data will be transferred outside the (according to VISI’s customer’s domicile), the transfer will be carried out in accordance with the Applicable Laws.

Processed Data Types

The information systems and software procedures involved in the operation of this site acquire certain personal data during their normal operation. The transmission of this data is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified parties, however, due to its very nature, it could make it possible to identify users through processing activity and association with data held by third parties. The type of data acquired includes IP addresses and the domain names of users’ computers who connect to the site, the addresses of the resources requested in URI notation (Uniform Resource Identifier), the time the request was made, the method used in making the request to the server, and other parameters related to the operating system and the computer environment of the user. The optional and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on the site involves the acquisition of the user’s personal data, necessary in order to respond to their requests.

Users are free to decide whether to provide the personal data necessary for VISI to supply the requested services. Failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for VISI to supply the requested information or services.

VISI’s customer personal data will be stored and retained for the minor period of time as needed by the service provided to VISI’s Customer or as asked by the Applicable Laws. For each service asked by VISI’s customer, VISI will provide a specific privacy notice, with a detail of the period for which the personal data will be stored or the criteria used to determine that period.

For personal data that VISI collects and process for other purposes, VISI will typically retain such personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy & Cookies Policy and as otherwise specified in applicable record retention policies and procedures.

 Web Chat Policy

Support Service through Web Chat is available. For the use of this service, it does not require the communication of personal data by the Customers. However, since this Service makes it possible for the Customer to text freely in the appropriate text field, the Customer could communicate personal data. In this case, the data will be processed in compliance with this privacy notice only to provide support to users who request it, as well as to improve the services provided and for statistical purposes. The data will be recorded and stored for the purposes indicated above for a maximum period of six months. Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before this withdrawal.

In these cases, requests should be sent to VISI via the details set forth in Section Our Contact.  Upon VISI customer’s request, VISI will cease to collect, use or disclose VISI customer’s personal data, unless required by the Applicable Laws or if VISI has legitimate business or legal purposes for retaining such data. Note that by withdrawing VISI customer’s consent to VISI’s collection, use or disclosure of VISI customer’s personal Data, VISI may not be able to continue providing VISI customer’s with VISI’s services and VISI’s customers agree that VISI will not be liable to VISI’s customer for any losses or damages arising out of or in relation to such termination of services.
